Energia Minerals.

Project Description
A scoping study completed on the Carley Bore project proposes the development of a low-cost, in situ recovery uranium operation, producing 1.4-million pounds a year of uranium oxide (U3O8) at steady state over a seven-year mine life. The project includes a two-million-pound-a-year treatment facility.

Value
The scoping study estimates preproduction capital at $113.7-million. This includes $75-million for the treatment facility and $20-million for initial well field development and commissioning.

Latest Developments
Work will continue to further optimise the project.

An additional exploration target of between 15-million tonnes and 25-million tonnes, grading between 300 parts per million (ppm) and 500 ppm U3O8 remains with the potential to add further value to the project.
Aircore and mud rotary drilling programmes are currently planned.
