Cape Town based company launches fire detection system
ZYTEQ Fire, a proudly South African company, has launched their range of Conventional Fire Detection products at Securex 2018 in Johannesburg. Designed and manufactured in South Africa, the ZYTEQ conventional products are certified to the demanding European EN54 standard and includes smoke and heat detectors along with the innovative integrated smoke/sounder/visual indicator.
The ZYTEQ team have drawn on their years of experience in the local fire detection industry to design a range of products that will appeal to installers and building owners alike. All conventional detectors feature microprocessor based technology with dual LED’s (flash green for healthy and red for service), intelligent drift compensation, Rate of Rise heat detection, RFID communication with the device and modern elegant styling as some of the features in the product range.
ZYTEQ Fire partners with some of the world’s leading brands to offer complete Conventional and Extinguishing solutions for every application with the local support customers have come to expect. All detection products and sounder/visual indicators are manufactured in our own state of the art ISO9001 certified factory in Cape Town. The factory is equipped with all the necessary test equipment to ensure our products are produced to the highest international standards including EN54 smoke and heat tunnels.
ZYTEQ Fire will also soon be releasing its addressable range later in the year which includes systems for small and large installations. The addressable solutions will offer all the features of the conventional range with the added benefits of an intelligent system.
