Project Description
The project consists of investments in the Capanema mine to reactivate the facilities and acquire new equipment, implement a long-distance belt conveyor and adaptations in the Timbopeba storage and loading yard.
The project will have a production capacity by natural moisture (without tailings generation) of 18-million tonnes a year. In the first few years, this will result in a net addition of 14-million tonnes a year of capacity to Vale, with expedition through the Timbopeba site.
