Project Description
An updated bankable feasibility study on the Buck Creek coal mining complex, which includes the staged, modular development and cash flows from the Poplar Grove and Cypress mines, has confirmed the project as technically and economically viable.

Poplar Grove is expected to have a 27-year mine life, with average saleable coal production at steady state estimated at 1.80-million tons a year.
Cypress will have an 18-year mine life, with average saleable coal production at steady state estimated at 3.90-million tons a year. Total run-of-mine coal produced over the life-of-mine for Poplar is estimated at 59.70-million tons and 86.30-million tons for Cypress.

Both projects will use the bord-and-pillar mining method and dense-media two-stage processing.
