Company Announcement - BMT WBM, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, the leading international maritime design, environmental and engineering consultancy, has announced its participation in the forthcoming AIMEX, Asia Pacific International Mining Exhibition Conference to be held in Sydney from the 1st to the 4th September 2015.
This year’s exhibition theme addresses 3 key drivers which are shaping the mining industry. A world of Innovation | A world of Productivity | A world of Opportunity... Widely known for complex problem solving, BMT engineers will be on hand to share experience and knowledge gained from over 40 years’ experience in the mining industry.
The BMT exhibit will feature its PULSE TerraMetrix system for health and productivity management on draglines and shovels. The PULSE TerraMetrix system presents an advanced integrated system capable of capturing health, productivity KPI’s and accurate payload measurements-reporting these directly to mine personnel through a server with automatic report generation capabilities.
The PULSE TerraMetrixRS product for rope shovels will be demonstrated at the show using a 1:17 scale model with a fully functioning system. Recent development of the PULSE TerraMetrix product now includes LIDAR scanning for terrain mapping, including direct volumetric measurement of shovel dipper and dragline bucket volumes on a pass-by-pass basis. Paul Charlton, Managing Director of BMT WBM’s Machinery Group comments: “We are thrilled to be contributing to the exhibition with robust examples of the company’s innovative skill and expertise for solving complex engineering problems”
BMT WBM will be demonstrating the PTM system at booth 0625 the AIMEX Asia Pacific International Mining Exhibition in Sydney between September 1st – 4th.
