Bligh reports maiden reserve at Bundarra
PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Explorer Bligh Resources has reported a maiden ore reserve of 1.63-million tonnes, grading 2.2 g/t gold for 120 006 oz of gold at its Bundarra gold project, in Western Australia.
The company said that 439 772 t of this reserve was classified as proven, while 1.19-million tonnes was classified as probable. The ore reserve estimate was based on a mineral resource of 489 248 oz.
“We are pleased to report the maiden reserve at Bligh’s flagship Bundarra gold project. Following the recent resource upgrade and strong metallurgical results, the project’s fundamentals continue to strengthen,” said CEO Rob Benussi.
He noted that Bligh and its project partner, SR Mining, were currently finalising an updated scoping study on the project to provide further details of the potential development programme at Bundarra.
“In addition, there are a range of highly prospective drilling targets in and around the Bundarra project area which have the potential to build on the current resource base,” he added.
