Biggest, boldest, brightest

TechRig Technical Solutions Agency has broken innovation boundaries this month with the arrival of the biggest, boldest and brightest projectors available in Sub-Saharan Africa.
TechRig, with the assistance of Prosound, can now lay claim to bringing a new dimension to technical productions. The first of their kind in the country, these are the world’s brightest projectors developed for the rental and staging industry. The Barco HDQ-2K40 shows off a blinding 40,000 lumens ensuring ultimate brightness and rich vibrant colours time after time. The HDF-W26 with a 26,000 lumen output displays superior images even in venues with lots of ambient light.
Prosound’s capacity to provide permanent, qualified and local support prompted TechRig to purchase the projectors from Prosound which are not only set to reshape the visual display solution industry, but will transform brand visibility as we know it.
“The emphasis on visual displays is becoming bigger and bigger all the time so this expansion by TechRig clearly sets them apart from the rest,” says Donovan Calvert, Prosound. “We’re proud to be the chosen support agents for TechRig, our experience with AV and the Barco product is definitely a plus.”
“We are thrilled to launch this technology into Africa. It’s the most exciting thing to come into the technical arena in decades,” notes Michael Collyer, group CEO for TechRig. “It’s not often we get the opportunity to spearhead a product that has so many creative applications. We’re delighted to partner with the Prosound team.”
TechRig has a fully trained team of activators to ensure precision handling of the technology so that all projectors will be optimal in the field.
Prosound would like to take this opportunity to congratulate TechRig on this amazing purchase and being a formidable presence in the industry.
