Company Announcement - Availon announced today the opening of their new global headquarters in Rheine. This move is a direct result of the tremendous growth that the wind turbine service provider has recently experienced. Over the last three years, Availon’s workforce almost doubled to reach 380 employees.

“Eight years after establishing Availon, we are opening a new chapter of the company’s story. Following a period of dynamic growth, the time has finally come to move the head office to a bigger, nicer facility. We hope that it will be the right environment to enhance our people’s innovative creativity”, commented CEO Ulrich Schomakers “We wanted to stay true to our roots. This is why we decided to maintain the new head office in the German city of Rheine, where people feel at home and in good hands. Our new working environment is resolutely modern and in tune with the times”, explained Availon’s CFO Markus Spitzer.

Availon operates and manages a portfolio of 2,200 MW of wind turbines across the world. This corresponds to a 70 percent growth of the company’s turbine portfolio since summer 2012. www.availon.eu
