TSX-V-listed Aton Resources has raised, through issuing a non-brokered private placement, up to C$2-million, the net proceeds of which will be used to fund continued exploration and development activities at its Egypt-based Rodruin and Hamama concessions, as well as for general working capital.

The non-brokered private placement financing comprises up to 13.33-million common shares at C$0.15 a share.

The shares issued following the private placement, which may close in one or more tranches, are subject to a restricted resale period of four months after the closing date and are open to existing shareholders of Aton.

Depending on other subscriber interest, Aton reports that significant shareholder OU Hektik may subscribe for all the shares in issue.
