PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed American Pacific Borates is on the hunt for a new leader after Michael Schlumpberger announced his resignation as both MD and CEO.

Schlumpberger joined the company in 2017 and has led American Pacific through the development of its Fort Cady borate mine, in Southern California.

American Pacific on Wednesday said that Schlumpberger will continue with the company for a transitional period, working with the US Advisory Board to ensure a smooth handover.

The recently established Advisory Board has initiated a search for a new CEO. In the meantime, chairperson David Salisbury will also assume the role of executive chairperson during this transitional period.
