Altus to publish upgraded mineral resource on Tabakorole in Sept
UK-based mining royalty company Altus Strategies and its joint venture partner ASX-listed Marvel Gold have announced further encouraging drilling results from the Tabakorole gold project, in Mali.
Exploration activities undertaken by Marvel have involved five diamond drill holes totalling 997 m from the project’s central zone.
The drilling has intersected 21 m of 2.6 g/t gold from 70 m and 8 m of 1.9 g/t gold from 80 m and was intended to increase the volume and grade of the resource in the central zone.
The companies await more results from seven diamond drill holes totalling 1 155 m in the north-west zone.
The companies will include multiple shallow intersections outside of the existing mineral resource estimate (MRE) area and publish an upgraded MRE in September.
As it stands, Altus owns 49% of the project along with a 2.5% net smelter royalty on future gold production from Tabakorole.
