Project Description
The JV plans on studying the development of lithium production from geothermal brine.
The envisaged production of about 10 000 t/y of lithium carbonate could fulfil the needs of about 250 000 electric vehicle batteries a year.
This project will also make it possible to produce decarbonised geothermal energy and will contribute to the economic development and energy transition of the Alsace region.
