Location: The mine is located 40 km north-west of Lithgow, on the Castlereagh Highway, in the western coalfields of New South Wales, in Australia.

Brief Description: Airly has an expected productive mine life of 25 years, producing up to 1.8-million tonnes a year, and is capable of supplying coal to the domestic and export markets.
Brief History: In operation since 2009, Airly was placed on care and maintenance in late 2012. The mine reopened in February 2014.
