Air Liquide showcases new ready-to-weld shielding gases
A new range of ready-to-weld shielding gases, developed to ensure quality in every dimension through improved productivity, quality of the finished product and a focus on the environment and welders’ working conditions, will be on show at the Air Liquide stand at the Electra Mining Africa 2014 exhibition.
Air Liquide, which launched the ARCAL brand several years ago, has now designed the ARCAL new generation in response to requests for reliability and simplicity. ARCAL new generation is four optimal gas compositions, instead of a multitude of complex offers, and covers 80% of all welding applications.
Air Liquide reports that globally, ARCAL sales are increasing by 10% each year with €100-million additional sales since 2010. With ARCAL new generation, the group expects accelerated sales growth over the next five years.
Other products on show at Hall 5, Stand A26 include Air Liquide’s BoostAL solutions offer for the metal processing industry. BoostAL reduces energy consumption and optimises manufacturing processes by implementing fully integrated technologies. The company is showcasing its BoostAL mining and combustion offers at Electra Mining Africa, with particular focus on the gold mining and pyrometallurgy industries.
Air Liquide will profile its wastewater treatment technologies with a key focus on municipal and industrial applications in biological and pH control.
Air Liquide reports that its value-added innovative offers make the group’s products unique.
Air Liquide is present in 80 countries with more than 50 000 employees and serves more than two-million customers and patients. Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen have been at the core of the company’s activities since its creation in 1902. It is the group’s ambition to be the leader in its industry, delivering long-term performance and acting responsibly.
