Asia-Pacific International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX)  (0.66 MB)

Apple iPhone and iPad owning visitors to AIMEX 2013 in Sydney next month will be able to take advantage of a customised App that will allow them to more easily navigate the exhibition, get the latest information updates from exhibitors and network with colleagues. Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition – AIMEX 2013 will be held at the Sydney Showground from August 20-23. The AIMEX 2013 App, available through Apple’s App Store on iTunes, incorporates full details on the exhibition, including interactive floorplans – cross-referenced to full exhibitor details – event information and the exhibition program. Visitors can create a profile, including contact details and information about themselves or their company – and have the option to share this with other AIMEX App users as a way of making contact and networking. The App also allows visitors to plan their AIMEX visit in advance, including using its Favourites feature to identify and highlight stands they want to see, and making contact with AIMEX visitors and exhibitors through its People feature. During the exhibition, it will give visitors direct access to updates, announcements and social media feeds and posts. The AIMEX 2013 App is available as a free download from Apple’s App Store on iTunes, by searching for “AIMEX”. It is compatible with iPhone 5/4/4G/3G, iPads and iPod Touch 3rd to 5th generation. It is strongly recommended that visitors download the AIMEX 2013 App before coming to the exhibition. The App also gives users the option of downloading all AIMEX content to their iOS device prior to visiting the exhibition.
