Strategic advisory and legal services firm Inmiso Consulting director Robert Botha believes that successful delivery of large mining, construction and energy projects requires an acute understanding and timeous incorporation of all applicable regulatory requirements during the project development stage. This includes requests for proposals and contracts, as well as the entire project execution stage.

“Moreover, an in-depth understanding of the business environment in which these projects are executed results in the ability to provide crucial insight into the challenges, risks and issues that may transpire,” he says.

Inmiso Consulting specialises in the delivery, management and execution of intricate projects and contracts in the mining, construction and energy industries.

Botha says that the firm’s combined experience in these highly regulated industries has equipped it with an in-depth understanding of the business of mining, construction and energy, the complexities of each and applicable good business practices.

“We believe that our industry experience, combined with the legal expertise we offer, presents a unique service delivery capacity. We are therefore well positioned to provide comprehensive strategic, commercial and legal consulting services, informed by our expertise and an array of complementary skills.”

Inmiso Consulting provides an integrated industry solution by combining and aligning its business experience with its legal expertise.

“We believe this approach ensures industry focus, alignment between project activities and legal requirements as well as optimum risk management throughout the execution of the project, which ultimately presents the best possible solution to our clients,” Botha explains.

Inmiso Consulting can provide a highly skilled, multidisciplinary legal resource at a single point of entry to meet all requirements in complex and highly regulated industries. The firm also provides transaction advisory services, as well as services relating to the management and coordination of specialist work streams.

A further array of service offerings includes proficient risk evaluation and identification, strategic and commercial advice, project coordination, as well as facilitation and implementation.

“Our resources are skilled and experienced in all aspects of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, compliance, permitting and licensing.”

Inmiso Consulting also provides legal and other services in complementary specialist fields such as labour law, health and safety law, social development, intellectual property and product improvements.

“We are a compact team and take advantage of our ability to be flexible and movable, enabling us to respond quickly and effectively to service requirements,” Botha concludes.
