4th Edition Africa Green Hydrogen Forum

1st June 2022

Font size: - +

The need to decarbonize the power generation, mining, mobility and heat energy markets in the face of the rapidly evolving climate reality leads the green transition. While the energy transition is in a nascent stage, development of green hydrogen markets is gathering pace and traction. Green hydrogen has potential uses in various end-use sectors and will play an increasing role in the transition to net zero as the cost of renewable electricity continues to drop and the cost of electrolysers reduce due to technical developments and a growth in the supply chain.

Africa has seen vast amounts of progress in green hydrogen developments across the region with countries such as South Africa, Niger, Mali and Namibia redirecting its focus on the utilisation of renewable energies through green hydrogen.

The 4th Edition Africa Green hydrogen Forum is gearing up to provide attendees with seminal insights for successful operations within a digitally shifted green energy landscape. The forum will bring together industry leaders enabling accelerated adoption of green hydrogen, action to bring down CO2 emissions and will offer the ideal space for networking with industry players; senior managers, decision-makers, and practitioners operating in the industries and making the most of green hydrogen technologies.

Join us as we gather these experts, practitioners, stakeholders, and leaders from Africa, Europe and the rest of the world to discuss the opportunities and future challenges in African Hydrogen economy, explore opportunities for the supply chain, examine the role of green hydrogen in the global energy transition and its relevance for the achievement of net-zero carbon. In addition, various aspects of green hydrogen will be presented and discussed in several sessions: green hydrogen storage, transport, distribution and the development of infrastructure.
