For 14 years ITC has been dedicated to highlighting the advancement of women in mining, while shedding light on opportunities available for them to obtain decent and productive working environments.  Through a combination of economic changes, education, and the efforts of human rights and labour advocates, women have gained access to careers, opportunities and rights they have previously been denied. Despite these advances however, women in many countries and sectors of the economy still face significant challenges.

Intelligence Transfer Centre (ITC) has led the way with the Women in Mining Conference which has hosted speakers and delegates from all walks of life within the mining industry. The 14th year celebration, will feature women from around the world who have made visible contributions above and beyond their daily responsibilities.

ITC is proud to host the 14th Annual Women in Mining Conference on 22, 23 & 24 February 2023 at Indaba Hotel, Fourways.

With more thought provoking panel discussions and attendance from WIM Associations not only from South Africa, but globally, the 14th annual promises to be bigger and better than before.

ITC is also excited to announce the roll out of a mining community initiative and team building exercise, which was launched in June 2022. ITC together with our partnering organisation, will provide delegates with tools and the guidance to build wheelchairs, as they race against the clock to complete their task.

Once the conference has been finalised, the wheelchairs will be sent for safety inspections, and then delivered to the charity of your choice.
