Just looking at the tower of Zondo Commission reports, packaged into several parts and volumes, is exhausting enough. Now is not the time to rest, however. Now is the time to act firmly against the predatory elite who took this country to the brink and have left a trail of destruction – from load-shedding and broken airlines to failing rail companies and intelligence infrastructure – in their grubby wake. While the prosecution authorities need to act with vigour, President Cyril Ramaphosa should also accelerate his official response.
