Company assists mining development projects towards optimising value
Geometallurgical service provider GEMET is comprised of a team of mineral processing, engineering and associated technical specialists with laboratory testing functionality focused on mine development projects, especially those within the advanced, and brownfield exploration stages. In this context the company provides project management and technical assurance from the sampling campaign through data generation, mineral processing interpretation and mineral processing technology with solution integration to major and junior mine development companies.
Moreover, GEMET is capable of technically supporting the implemented mineral processing system, independently, through regular onsite technical interaction with management. Such interaction entails metallurgical processing equipment and overall system efficiency audits.
GEMET strategically networks through strong collaborative relationships with specialist entities that have scarce and deep technical skills, thereby enabling it to offer an integrated technical knowledge package to its clients on a project specific basis – a “major intangible asset”.
The company makes client engagements which lead to eventual assistance into the brownfield support phases of the mining project life cycle.
GEMET and its associates have extensive experience relating to mineral industries such as diamonds, gold, platinum, chrome, iron-ore, and base metals. It has also worked extensively on mine development projects in Africa, Canada, Australia, Asia and South America.
Currently it provides geometallurgical services to a variety of major mine development projects for high profile mining clients.
