ASX-listed West Cobar Metals has been successful in its application for government co-funding for the Fraser Range project, in Western Australia.

The application is part of the Round 30 Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) which provides cofounding of certain drill programme costs, up to A$156 000, between December 1, and November 30.

West Cobar’s Fraser Range has some large untested copper and gold targets. The project area lies in the Biranup zone, a structural extension of the Fraser zone that hosts the Nova-Bollinger nickel and copper deposit and is of similar age to the IOCG mineralisation in the Gawler Craton.
