Applied in a wide variety of processes, industries and sectors, vacuum technology is regarded as one of the most versatile, economical and clean technologies used in the field of industrial automation.

AR Vacuum Technology focuses on the design and development of new products in the field, and offers a broad portfolio of components, systems and customised solutions for industrial applications. The company aims to partner with end-users to create solutions that meet the needs of industrial processes.

Established in 1975 and part of the Metal Work Group since 2022, AR Vacuum Technology specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial vacuum equipment. Its product portfolio comprises more than 3 000 references, covering vacuum generation, handling, conveying, control and associated accessories.

Among its vacuum-generation products are multi-stage ejectors, modular interchangeable cartridge ejectors and high suction-flow vacuum ejectors. The range includes units designed for applications requiring high suction capacity, as well as models incorporating integrated control and energy-saving functions.

Special solutions for the transport of bulk goods, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and food industry, are manufactured according to client specifications. Solutions are developed to ensure compatibility with material requirements, environmental conditions and hygiene specifications.

For the movement of powders, pellets and small particles, AR Vacuum Technology vacuum conveyors provide a solution for transport over distances of up to 20 m. Applications extend across food, pharmaceutical, construction and woodworking operations. Features include automatic filter cleaning, modular construction and, where required, FDA/Food Grade and ATEX certification.

In addition, AR Vacuum Technology manufactures robot grippers designed to fit a range of robots used in industrial and manufacturing processes. Designed for pneumatic and electric connections, the vacuum solutions are able to handle a variety of objects such as pallets, packing boxes, and the removal and fitting of parts.

The company also manufactures vacuum lifters for handling large metal plates, marble, concrete, plastic, glass and other materials. These systems use suction cups connected to vacuum stations, while electropneumatic controls manage vacuum levels and safety functions. Electric and battery-powered vacuum pump options are available, together with specialised designs for applications involving load tilting.

Supporting the equipment portfolio is a range of technical and commercial services, including application advice, distributor training and customer support for technical and logistical requirements.

Visit Metal Work Pneumatic at the upcoming Electra Mining Africa expo to view its wide range of innovative products and to explore how vacuum technology can be applied to the needs of your industry.

Electra Mining Africa will be held from September, 7 to 11 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec.
