AUMUND Bucket Elevator Type BWG-GK

The bucket elevator for coarse material AUMUND Type BWG-GK follows a totally new principle of configuration. A narrow, overlapping positioning of the buckets has the belt disappearing fully behind them. It is thus protected and no coarse material can become jammed between the backs of the buckets and the belt. The outer belt edges are protected against damages. Even in case of an emergency stop it is possible to empty the elevator at lowest speed without having material thrown behind the buckets.

AUMUND bucket elevators are standard equipment of installations worldwide moving bulk goods vertically. To date, belt bucket elevators have been limited mainly to the transport of fine grained goods to avoid deterioration. For the first time now, the AUMUND Type BWG-GK makes it possible to use a belt bucket elevator for bulk material to a grain size till 60 millimetres.
