ASX-listed Kingston Resources has successfully increased production at its Mineral Hill processing plant in New South Wales, reaching an annualised throughput of 400 000 t.

Over the past four weeks, the facility recorded a single-day throughput of 1 144 t, with the mill consistently operating at 50 t/h – exceeding its nameplate capacity.

Kingston management is optimistic about further improving production through incremental optimisations in both the mining and processing operations.

Currently, Kingston is producing gold from its Mineral Hill gold and copper mine while also advancing its flagship 3.8-million-ounce Misima gold project, in Papua New Guinea. With these projects, the company aims to establish itself as a midtier gold and base metals producer, leveraging its growing portfolio of assets.
