Geology/Mineralisation
Gold mineralisation at Hoyle Pond generally occurs as coarse free gold in white to grey-white quartz shear veins with a variable ankerite, tourmaline and pyrite. Mining zones generally comprise north-east-striking, subvertical quartz veins that are folded on a small scale.

Resources
Total proven and probable reserves as at January 13, 2025, were estimated at 1.17-million tonnes grading at 12.9 g/t gold. Inferred resources were estimated at 578 000 t grading 15.24 g/t gold.

Underground.
Mining Method
Current mining methods at Hoyle Pond are primarily longhole mining with some mechanised cut-and-fill mining also being used. The mine is transitioning to using underhand cut-and-fill mining in the Lower S Zone below depths of 1 900 m.
Major Infrastructure/Equipment
Underground infrastructure includes two decline ramps and one four compartment shaft; underground production is either trucked or hoisted via winze to a tramming level reporting to the shaft.
Prospects
There remain multiple high-potential exploration targets, near the mine and regionally.
