Name and Location
Hera gold/lead/zinc mine expansion project, New South Wales, Australia.

Client
Aurelia Metals.

Project Description
Hera has a total resource of 2.51-million tonnes grading 3.48 g/t of gold, 37.21 g/t of silver, 0.15% copper, 3.65% lead and 4.76 g/t zinc.

Aurelia has completed a scoping study on expanding mine and mill production from 350 000 t/y to an annualised 450 000 t/y to address the existing process issues and substantially improve the company’s forward projection of expected financial performance.

The expansion study shows the project can deliver:
• a five-year mine life, assuming there is no additional exploration success;
• average gold production of 40 000 oz/y;
• an all-in sustaining cost over the life-of-mine of less than A$700/oz, after base metal credits; and
• a significantly increased average base metal production profile of 14 000 t/y of zinc and 12 500 t/y of lead.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
Not stated.

Value
The project is estimated at $16.87-million.

Duration
The study has found that the expansion project can be delivered with a relatively modest process capital expenditure of $16.8 million, staged sequentially through to July 2016.
