Gallagher appointed CEO of Clean Air Metals
Ontario-based exploration company Clean Air Metals has appointed Jim Gallagher permanent and full-time CEO and Dean Chambers as nonexecutive chairperson.
Both appointments are effective immediately and follow Abraham Drost’s exit as CEO in early June.
Chambers has replaced Gallagher, who resigned as chairperson to take up the CEO position. Gallagher has served as executive chair of the company since Clean Air Metals began to trade on the TSX-V in early 2020 and early this month assumed the role of interim CEO.
Gallagher, a mining engineer, was previously CEO of North American Palladium with its principal asset being the Lac des Iles Palladium mine, about 90 km north of Clean Air Metals' Thunder Bay North critical minerals project.
Chambers has been a director of the company since 2020. He is a professional engineer and financial executive who retired as executive vice president and CFO of Sherritt International.
