Employee killed in load haul dump loader accident at Caledonia's Blanket mine

An employee at gold miner Caledonia Mining Corporation's Blanket mine, in Zimbabwe, died following an accident on February 21.

The accident involved a load haul dump loader in one of the mine's underground haulages, the gold miner reports.

The relevant authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

Caledonia expresses its condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased.
