JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Diamond giant De Beers on Friday announced the appointment of Bernard Bradley as new senior VP of sightholder sales, succeeding Nigel Simson, who moves into the new role of senior VP of product planning at the Global Sightholder Sales business, in Botswana.

The new product planning function is expected to establish closer integration between sales, product planning and product delivery, which will enable more tailored product and service offerings for rough diamond customers.

The pair will work closely with Global Sightholder Sales executive VP Paul Rowley and the senior management team at Global Sightholder Sales in Gaborone.
