BMT WBM, a subsidiary of BMT Group, the leading international maritime design, environmental and engineering consultancy, has been named as ‘Best Professional
Services Firm’ (revenue less than $50 million)’ at the 10th Annual Business Review Weekly (BRW) Client Choice Awards. The 2013 Awards ceremony held in Sydney also saw BMT WBM recognised as the ‘Best Consulting Engineering Firm (revenue less than $50 million)’. The awards are presented to organisations based entirely on the feedback provided by customers and are therefore, a true representation of how companies are rated by their real judges - their customers. An independent survey conducted by Beaton Consulting, the largest of its type to be undertaken in Australasia, was used to capture quantitative feedback from customers.

Philip Haines, Director & General Manager, Water and Environment, who accepted the award on behalf of BMT WBM comments: “Picking up not just one, but two of these
prestigious awards has been an extremely special moment for us all at BMT WBM. Being customer-focused is central to the work we carry out and we take enormous pride
in being able to provide customised solutions that truly meet our customers’ needs. This award comes on the back of our recent recognition by the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand where we secured the title of ‘Best Professional Practice’, confirming our commitment to excellence and innovation across the science and
engineering industries.”

Tony McAlister Managing Director at BMT WBM continues “Our staff are the key ingredient to our on-going success. It is therefore pleasing to see that our customers
also appreciate the efforts and dedication provided by our staff each and every day. The ‘Best Professional Services Firm’ awards was especially rewarding as we were up
against a range of other service providers including accountants, law firms and management consultants. We would like to thank our customers who took part in the
Beaton Consulting survey and BRW for recognising our staff’s on-going hard work.”
