The board and management of International Coal Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Glenn Simpson as Chief Executive Officer.Mr Simpson is a qualified geologist with an honours degree in Applied Science (Geology) and a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration. He has over 20 years of experience in
the mining and energy sector, 10 years of experience as a geologist and operational manager, and extensive experience in government, tenure management, and business
development. Glenn has worked as the General Manager (Operations) for Coal Face Resources Pty Ltd where he played a key role in identifying and evaluating new resource opportunities through Queensland, Western Australia and international target generation projects. He brings a wealth of experience in the management of coal tenures, business development and government liaison.

General Manager (Operations) – Coal Face Resources Pty Ltd

Business Development Manager – the Moultrie Group

Senior Geologist – the Moultrie Group

Manager – Electricity Policy & Markets, Queensland Department of Mines and
Energy


Mr Simpson has co-authored publications on the Surat, Bowen and Yarrol Basins in Queensland and has a strong background in coal exploration and business development. His success in various roles in the industry has been demonstrated through key achievements in the publishing of geological works on Queensland geology, the roll out of government policy and legislation, involvement in due diligence on multi-million dollar gas and coal supply contracts, and more recently in the delivery of work programs across granted coal exploration tenure. ICX is extremely pleased to welcome Mr Simpson to the role of CEO and look forward to benefiting from his expertise in developing new and existing thermal and coking coal prospects for International Coal in Queensland. Mr Hugh Dai has resigned from his position of Managing Director of International Coal and will continue to act as an Executive Director of the company.
