JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed carbine Resources has extended the delivery of the definitive feasibility study for its Mount Morgan project, in Queensland, to the December 2016 quarter to allow for additional time to assess the possible relocation of the processing plant.

Relocating the plant from its original location in Mundic Gully to Sandstone Gully could have several cost and scheduling benefits, including removing the plant from a heritage-listed area.

The extended timeframe for the DFS will also allow the company to complete processing plant throughput optimisation work, based on the increased resources announced last month.
