Caledonia says Blanket employee killed in secondary blasting incident

Gold miner Caledonia Mining reported a fatality on the afternoon of February 16 at its Blanket mine, in Zimbabwe.

The accident was related to secondary blasting.

The company said further details could not be divulged, pending the outcome of an enquiry into the accident by the relevant authorities.

Caledonia expressed its condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased.
