Balabag is a predevelopment-stage gold/silver project covering an area of about 52 km2 and situated about 75 km east-north-east of TVI’s Canatuan mine.
It has an estimated indicated mineral resource of 1.78-million tonnes, averaging 2.34 g/t of gold and 72.3 g/t of silver and containing 134 262 oz of gold and 4.15-million ounces of silver.

Latest Developments
TVI has completed and submitted the declaration of mining project feasibility (DMPF) for the Balabag project to the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources and the Mines and Geosciences Bureau for review and approval.
The DMPF is a regulatory requirement, comprising plans, documents and other certifications required to obtain approval from the Philippines government for the development of Balabag.
