Explorers Artemis Resources and West Coast Silver on Thursday announced a nonbinding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly evaluate whether the Radio Hill processing plant, near Karratha, could be used to treat ore from the high-grade Elizabeth Hill silver project in the Pilbara.

The companies said they would exchange technical, metallurgical and logistical information, undertake site visits and conduct joint assessments to determine if Radio Hill was technically suitable and economically viable for future toll treatment.

Artemis executive director Jozsef Patarica said the collaboration would allow the companies to test new processing opportunities while supporting development of a notable silver asset in the region.

“Radio Hill has historically demonstrated versatility across multiple ore types. This cooperation allows us to assess future processing opportunities while supporting potential development of a high-grade silver project in our region,” he said.

West Coast Silver executive chairperson Bruce Garlick said the evaluation aligned with the company’s capital-disciplined development strategy for Elizabeth Hill.

“Elizabeth Hill is one of Australia’s historically highest-grade silver deposits. The opportunity to assess Radio Hill as a potential processing solution aligns with our strategy to fast-track development while maintaining capital discipline,” he noted.

The MoU does not create any binding commercial obligations, and any formal tolling or processing agreement will depend on a positive technical and commercial assessment followed by a definitive agreement. Each party will meet its own costs during the MoU phase, and all shared information will remain confidential under ASX and Corporations Act requirements.

Technical teams from both companies will now begin data sharing and review work, with further updates to be provided as the assessment advances.
