Dual-listed Champion Iron has announced a new collective agreement with the unionised employees of its Bloom Lake operations, in Quebec, Canada.

Unionised employees represented by Syndicat des Metallos that comprise about 63% of the workforce at Bloom Lake, have ratified the new five-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with the company.

"The CBA balances the need to remain competitive by attracting the best talent while also ensuring our company can navigate uncertain economic environments,” commented CEO David Cataford.

Bloom Lake, located near Fermont, is an opepit operation with two concentrators.
