Victor Industrial Equipment, which has been serving the mining industry for more than 80 years, has been appointed as the South African distributor for light emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions company X-Glo.

The LED light strip design used by X-Glo has been developed to be robust in its design and highly suitable for use in harsh industrial environments like mining. The robust design enables the light strip to have very high tensile and point load strength.

The X-Glo LED light strip range is manufactured with the best available, high quality LED’s that provide optimum white light within the 6 500 light spectrum at the highest possible Lumen level per meter per Watt.

The X-Glo low voltage LED strip lighting is designed to be energized 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The high-grade LED also enables the light strip to achieve the best possible lifespan.

The continuous flood of light that an X-Glo LED light strip provides is more efficient than traditional point lighting, enabling mines to specify fewer LEDs per meter, which in turn reduces the initial cost.

The X-Glo 12 LED per meter solution is energy efficient with the 12 LED per meter strip only consuming 2.5 watts per meter and the X-Glo 60 LED per strip only consuming 9 watts per meter.

The X-Glo LED light strip design is highly energy efficient and uses a minimal amount of power which enables the customer to achieve significant electricity cost savings.

X-Glo strip lighting is safe, cost-effective, waterproof, fire-retardant, maintenance-free, easy to install, energy efficient, impact and shock resistant, ultra-flexible and long lasting.
