TLT-Turbo appoints new CEO
Mining, tunnel and industrial fan manufacturer and mechanical vapour recompression (MVR) technology company TLT-Turbo has appointed Gerd Jegodzinski as its new CEO, effective January 4, succeeding former CEO Matthias Adamy.
TLT-Turbo provides customised ventilation solutions in underground mines in Australia and Canada.
Jegodzinski, formerly from the American Aleris Group, brings extensive experience and expertise to the CEO role. At Aleris, he held various positions, including head of finance for the China region. TLT-Turbo believes his experience at Aleris represents a significant added value for the company, where he became CFO in 2022.
Jegodzinski has spent his career developing a deep understanding of the industrial sector, which now forms the basis of his strategic vision for TLT-Turbo.
“[Jegodzinski’s] extensive experience and strategic vision will undoubtedly contribute to our company's continued success and growth," TLT-Turbo MD Xiongfei Zhao says.
TLT-Turbo believes his leadership style aligns with the company’s focus on innovation, sustainability, global growth, and the development and delivery of customer-focused solutions in all business areas.
"I am honoured to take on this responsibility and look forward to working with the experienced and talented team at TLT-Turbo and the international subsidiaries in the US, India, South Africa, China and Australia.
“Together, we will continue to build on the company's established heritage and develop new business opportunities in global markets for the diverse applications of our fans," Jegodzinski adds.
In addition to the industrial, mining and MVR sectors, TLT-Turbo's offerings include solutions for power generation, wind tunnels and tunnel and metro projects.
