Mineral sands company Strandline Resources has announced the appointment of Rober Ierace as CFO and Robert Stevenson as GM of operations for its Coburn project, in Western Australia.

Ierace was most recently CFO for dual listed ASX and FSE lithium developer Vulcan Energy, while Stevenson joined Strandline in July 2023 from Macmahon as operations manager mining.

Meanwhile, Strandline said its Coburn project had a record month in March, with heavy mineral concentrate production of 15 510 dry tonnes in the month.

“The March production level is a result of the strategic and methodical approach taken to managing tailings storage and reducing other unplanned downtime,” commented MD Jozsef Patarica.

He said the March production was a successful step towards full ramp-up to nameplate production levels.

Further, the review of operations and financial requirements of the business remained ongoing and the company’s shares remained suspended.
