Copper developer Sandfire Resources America on Monday announced the appointment of Lincoln Greenidge and Victoria Twiss to its board of directors, replacing outgoing chairperson Matt Fitzgerald and former CEO Rob Scargill, who had resigned as directors.

The company, which is developing the Black Butte project, near White Sulphur Springs in Montana, appointed Jason Grace as its board chairperson.

Greenidge joined Sandfire Resources America in January last year, and served as the CFO until March 29 this year, at which time he was appointed CEO, replacing Scargill.

Twiss is a practicing lawyer with over 18 years’ experience in the resource sector with experience in the development and operation of mining and infrastructure projects, governance, risk and compliance, mergers and acquisition, land management and contracting and procurement. She joined Sandfire Resources of Australia in 2011 during the construction of its DeGrussa copper/gold mine.

Besides Greenidge, Twiss and Grace, the board also comprises Alan Joscelyn and Christina Hedrich.
