Remote Exploration Services, and Remote Drilling Services, both part of exploration and mining services firm “MS Group”, will be exhibiting their ability to implement and fully support  exploration and drilling projects in the most remote areas in Africa at the 2014 CBM-TEC, which will be held at the Mist Gardens Exhibition Venue in Kitwe, Zambia, says RES C.O.O. Bradley Wade.

RES & RDS, South African based companies, both have registered businesses in Zambia with an operational base in Chingola – making it easy for clients with early-stage exploration projects in the Copperbelt to work with them.

Wade believes that CBM-TEC is a much needed platform for exposure to the latest news and trends in the Copperbelt, adding that it gives the company an opportunity to engage with its clients and meet new players in the market.

He notes that, although the exploration industry has experienced a downturn of late, especially grassroots exploration projects – the company’s speciality – they hope to encounter people who are positive about making new discoveries despite global market trends.

Furthermore, the company hopes to establish new business relationships with clients wanting to work with equally passionate, discovery-focused explorers to take their projects forward in highly technical, innovative, and results-driven ways.

Wade explains that RES provides world-class field exploration services and ground geophysical surveys, having operated in some of the toughest locations in Africa for nearly 20 years, while RDS has a track record in successfully drilling some of the most challenging and complex drill programs in Africa over the past 9 years.

Wade says that RDS is the only drilling company he knows of that is run and operated “by geologists, for geologists.” He adds, “Our clients want to reach key decision-making points early on during each phase of their project, with the best possible data on hand, working with contractors who understand and appreciate their needs. We fully understand how important it is to collect the best possible base data, whether it be through a soil sampling program with RES or drilling with RDS, and to work alongside our clients in fully engaging with the data and interpreting and understanding it in the context of their desired outcomes.”

In addition, both companies set themselves apart in being able to support a field program with full in-house operational and logistical support, and being able to deliver on-time, safely, and within budget.

“We do not have any specific targets that we aim to achieve during the event, as we believe that good, long-term, mutually beneficial business comes through building relationships with clients. We aim to build on existing relationship and forge new ones this year,” says Wade.

The company hopes that, after the event, attendees will have gained knowledge of opportunities for the growth of the Copperbelt and that they will embrace these opportunities to make the next big discoveries a reality.

Additionally, Wade hopes that this inaugural event will be the catalyst to assist with the growth of the Zambian mining industry, as it enables key players in government and industry to have open discussions about what is needed, what is lacking and what can be shared to commonly address the most important and the most urgent matters affecting the Zambian mining industry.
