Global mining solutions provider Tega Industries will have a strong presence at Electra Mining 2016 with its philosophy ‘partnership in practice’.

The company will be gathered at the event with a team of experts to assist clients to improve throughputs and protect valuable processing equipment.

Considering the tough trading conditions that the industry has to contend with, Tega Industries’ focus this year will be on improving the overall efficiency of plants through the correct selection of liners, screen panels, sub-assemblies and a variety of engineered rubber and other solutions designed especially for local mines.

The company will also debut its mill scanning solutions that use hyper-accurate camera technology to view and measure the geometry of a mill to gauge wear and ascertain the best replacement cycles for mill liners. Software will also be at hand to integrate and model efficient processes.

Tega Industries MD Fernando Monteiro says some of the other products of interest will include a cross-section of available liner technologies, wear components, and industrial products, as well as home-grown innovations, such as drill rig shock assemblies, cable protectors and other locally developed innovations.

“All the products on show are locally manufactured at our state-of-the-art factory in Vulcania, as well as globally, in plants in India and Chile, and represent an example of the products we manufacture and solutions we are able to provide. In addition, our technical staff, logistics personnel and administrators will be on hand to advise customers of available solutions for their every requirement, irrespective of their location on the African continent.

“The idea is to give visitors a hands-on experience that will enable them to see and touch the displays, but also to provide real technical expertise that can help clients with their processing, conveying or other challenges and help foster working relationships with new clients,” adds Monteiro.

He says Tega Industries has a comprehensive range of products and is able to design and manufacture bespoke solutions for mining applications. It has the in-house expertise locally to identify and develop solutions based on customer’s requirements. In addition, the company is able to call on its global resources in India, the US, South America, the rest of Asia, Australia and Europe to find best practices and model solutions on other successful ventures of the group’s global partners.
