PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Ramelius Resources has flagged ASX-listed MACA as preferred contractor for openpit mining services at its Mt Magnet gold project, and surrounding satellite pits, in Western Australia.

MACA told shareholders on Thursday that the final contract award was subject to regulatory approvals and finalising contract terms, with work expected to start in July.

The project will consist of openpit mining services, including drilling and blasting, and loading and hauling, and will run for a period of 32 months, generating some A$100-million in revenue for MACA.
