Coal-hungry India is expected to import 22% more coal from South Africa this year than in 2010, says CBB India president RK Nagia, who estimates 22-million tons for this year, up four-million tons from the 18-million tons of 2010. The largely State-owned Coal India is expected to import 300-million tons a year by 2030, says Krishnapatnam Port executive Jithendra Nimmagadda.
