Project Description
The project has total proven and probable reserves of 842.7-million tonnes grading 0.63% total copper. Total measured and indicated reserves are estimated at 939.6-million tonnes grad­ing 0.67% total copper for a mine life of 24 years.

The project envisages a 25-million-tonne-a-year expansion of the sulphide ore processing facility and the associated increase in mining capacity, increasing throughout to 52-million tonnes a year.

Capital of about $650-million will be required to implement the project.

Once internal in-house approvals are granted, construction could potentially restart in 2023, with completion by late 2024.
