The project is located in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, in Western Australia.

Talison Lithium.

Project Description
The proposal involves undertaking Stage 3 and 4 expansions at the existing Greenbushes lithium mine.

The proposed expansion will produce about 2.8-million tonnes of lithium mineral concentrate a year.

The project will include:

• the development of an expanded openpit;

• the establishment of two additional chemical-grade processing plants, a plant for the retreatment of tailings, an additional crusher and the expansion of a centralised run-of-mine;

• the establishment of a new mine services area, and explosives storage and handling infrastructure;

• the expansion of the existing Floyds waste rock landorm;

• the construction of an additional tailings storage facility; and

• the establishment of additional linear infrastructure corridors.

Lithium mineral concentrates from the operation will continue to be transported to the ports of Bunbury and Fremantle (limited volumes) for export according to current arrangements and will also supply the Albemarle and Tianqi lithium plants.
