SolGold Plc has announced a significant extension to its copper-gold porphyry exploration project in northern Ecuador. The true potential of Cascabel is starting to take shape and fourteen prospects within the tenement have been identified as outlined in the most recent announcement. Announcement from June 30, puts Hole 15R2 assay results in the top 25 porphyry copper gold exploration holes in history, the fifth drill hole at Alpala to be included in such an esteemed group.
To date, seventeen holes have been drilled and assayed at the first identified target, Alpala. A record of five of those 17 holes have returned intersections ranking amongst the top porphyry copper-gold exploration drill holes in history. These outstanding results from just one of the fourteen targets contributes to the evidence mounting for Cascabel to be a world class porphyry field.
