Company Announcement - The programme for the 13th Botswana Resource Sector Conference has been published today and brings together most of the resource players in Botswana under one roof. Endorsed and fully supported by the MMWER and BCM, the conference which has seen year on year growth since its inception has positioned itself very successfully as a valuable resource conference and a firm fixture on the conference circuit for resource players with over 350 delegates attending annually.
With focussed presentations from many of the resource companies operating in Botswana the conference offers the ultimate networking forum for anyone interested in any of the different commodities currently being explored in Botswana. Presentations confirmed to date include updates from African Energy, Petra Diamonds, Gem Diamonds, Boteti Mining, Tlou Energy, Shumba Coal, Debswana, Discovery, Puma Energy, Khoemacau and Jindal.
NEW FOR 2015 there are also some open discussions sessions focussing on the road ahead for Botswana’s resource sector. A panel session chaired by Boikobo Paya will see the following experts discussing the future of the resource sector – Charles Siwawa BCM, Mashale Phumaphi Shumba Coal, Keith Jefferis Econsult and Nchidzi Mmolowa MMWER. In addition we can expect to see a keynote from the Minister and an update from the Department of Geological Surveys’s Tsiyapo Ngwisanyi as well a presentation from a leading commercial bank on investing in resources.
With such a strong line up of speakers and a focussed agenda, delegate registration has started early and bodes well for yet another successful networking conference.
Full details of the conference can be found on www.capconferences.com and please note there are a few limited presentation slots still available so anyone interested in securing an speaker slot, exhibition stand or sponsorship slot should contact emma@capresources.co.uk as soon as possible.
