Midtier mining and materials company Afrimat expects to report earnings per share (EPS) of between 252.4c and 265c and headline earnings per share (HEPS) of between 257.2c and 269.8c for the six months ended August 31.

That represents a 0% to 5% increase on the EPS of 252.4c and a 2% to 7% increase on the HEPS of 252.2c reported for the six months ended August 31, 2022.

Afrimat, which will publish its interim results on October 26, says it and its subsidiaries remain successful and profitable.

"For the period under review, Afrimat has continued to invest substantially in projects that are expected to yield fruitful returns and further strengthen diversity and competitive advantage in the future," it adds.
