The group has local manufacturing facilities located in Gauteng and the Western Cape. WEG Transformers Africa, operating two manufacturing facilities, one in Wadeville and the other in Heidelberg, is one of the largest designers and manufacturers of mini substations and a complete range of transformers. WEG Transformers Africa also offers maintenance, repair and rewinding services for transformers and mini substations.
Zest WEG Group Generator Sets, through the manufacturing facility located in Cape Town, supplies standard off-the-shelf generator sets as well as custom built application specific units are produced. Capacities range from 10 kVA up to 3350 kVA at 50Hz.
With over 30 years’ experience as a manufacturer of various electrical enclosures, Shaw Controls focuses on providing world class electrical instrumentation and control solutions at its extensive manufacturing facility south of Johannesburg. These include custom built E-house.
Further to the manufacturing operations, leading specialist electrical, instrumentation and control systems construction company, EnI Electrical also forms part of Zest WEG Group. Established in 1984, this electrical contracting company offers a complete and comprehensive service.
